Wild About Edgeley Community Planting
Wild About Edgeley brings together young people, residents, businesses and volunteers to create greener, more biodiverse spaces which everyone can feel proud of.
We need your help to bring Edgeley’s streets to life by planting 18,000 bulbs and helping install bespoke planters at key locations around the Greek Street roundabout.
Community Planting Days
Help make Edgeley bloom next spring by joining our community bulb-planting events this Autumn. Together we’ll create a colourful display of spring flowers which will enhance biodiversity and support local wildlife throughout the year.
The event is open to everyone, whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply want to get involved in your community.
Please bring gloves if you have them, although all equipment can be provided. We’ll start with a short safety briefing and refreshments will be available.
Tuesday 13th October, from 10am – 12pm
Meet by the ‘Scarf my Father Wore’ mural at the end of Castle Street next to Greek Street roundabout
Tuesday 27th October, from 1pm to 3pm
