We have an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Landscape Architect to lead and develop a new area of work for Groundwork West Midlands. In this interesting and varied role, you will lead on the design and implementation of a programme of Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDs) schemes across Stoke on Trent. You will already be confident in undertaking the full scope of landscape architect responsibilities but specific SuDS training will be available. Most importantly, you will have the desire and drive to lead this exciting new agenda for the organisation.
As part of this role, you will:
- deliver high quality landscape, green infrastructure and public realm projects across the West Midlands;
- manage the design and implementation of a range of landscape improvement projects in partnership with public, private and voluntary sector organisations;
- work effectively with other members of the team to oversee the delivery of a programme of high quality landscape improvement projects;
- develop and grow Groundwork West Midlands offer in relation to SuDS.
Working within our Community and Environment team, you will have a strong understanding of project management and monitoring, including the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity. You will have experience of implementing multiple projects at a time, and ensuring all are complete on time and within budget.
