Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside changes places and changes lives by working with our many partners to create better healthier neighbourhoods and by building local skills & job prospects. Groundwork are a delivery partner for the National Citizen Service working with the prime contractor Ingeus.
The National Citizen Service is a youth programme for 16 and 17 year olds launched nationwide in 2013 and has already developed over 200,000 young people. Participants experience residential activities away from home and team-based sessions before developing a Social Action project to make a difference within their local community. UCAS progress recognise NCS as a stepping stone to university.
We're looking for a self-motivated, dynamic Manager for our Employment and Skills Team to work on this programme.

We are looking for candidates who are able to relate to young people, yet have the ability to challenge and set boundaries in a clear and non-judgemental way. Specific National Citizen Service training will be provided.
