Sessional Youth Workers

Groundwork MSSTT has been working in the Manchester area for over 25 years. As one of the biggest Groundwork Trusts, we have an excellent reputation for the scale and scope of the services we deliver.

We are looking for confident, flexible and adaptable individuals with previous experience of Youth Work. Ideal candidates will have the ability to motivate and inspire groups of young people (some of whom will have additional educational or behavioural needs) to develop understanding and skills, and to implement these in a practical and tangible way. They will be able to create a rapport and develop sustainable professional relationships with young people, schools, community groups, staff and partners at all levels.

Successful Youth Workers will have experience of supporting youth leaders to deliver a wide range of projects to groups and individuals.

Delivery will include day and evening sessions on an ad hoc basis across Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford. We look for people from diverse back grounds that can bring a variety of experiences and knowledge to our programmes.
