Harvest Stomp is an annual free community festival in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park inviting Londoners of all ages, alongside local park users and the local community to celebrate harvest, offering friendly family fun to the local community and beyond.
Created to celebrate local food growing and local produce the festival caters to all ages with something for everyone from barn dancing to tasty local produce and specialist food growing workshops. Over the years we’ve reached over 14,000 people, bringing the local Stratford and surrounding communities together to participate in fun activities from a giant welly boot parade to grape squashing and a mass fruit salad toss.
Since its inception Groundwork London have helped to deliver the festival, with 2017 focusing on a specific Food Activity experience within the site, which you can read more about here.
Together with LLDC and specifically in 2017 TRiFOCAL, our aim is to offer an enjoyable family–friendly experience for the community.
