Join the Brinnington Green Guardians!
Are you a parent of a young women aged 11 to 17 in Brinnington?
Green Guardians is a 8 week summer programme designed to enhance your child’s mental and physical well-being through nature-based practical activities, and physical exploration of the area.
What we’re doing
Activities include;
- Skill Learning Sessions – Willow weaving, hammock building and more
- Mindfulness and nature connection – Plant discovery, nature photography, bird watching and more
- Community engagement and youth-led action – Community volunteering, organising events, group trips and more
Bringing young women together through nature will help to build up their confidence over the summer & beyond.
This activity may count towards your child’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills/Volunteering/Physical section, please check with your DofE Leader before signing up.

Time: Sessions will run every Tuesdays from 2-4pm
