Become a Brinnington Green Guardian!
Are you a parent of carer of a daughter who is aged 11 to 17 and live in Brinnington?
Green Guardians is a funded, 8-week summer holiday programme designed to enhance mental and physical well-being through nature-based practical activities.
What we’re doing
Activities include;
- Skill Learning Sessions – Willow weaving, hammock building and more
- Mindfulness and nature connection – Plant discovery, nature photography, bird watching and more
- Community engagement and youth-led action – Community volunteering, organising events, group trips and more
This activity may count towards your child’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills/Volunteering/Physical section, however please check with your DofE Leader before signing up.

Time: Sessions will run every Tuesdays from 2-4pm until the end of August 2026
