Project Manager, Refugees and Migrants

 

Location: Groundwork London Office in Waterloo / remote working arrangements

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until end December 22

Salary: £32,000 to £34,000 dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Groundwork London are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our social integration work, supporting Refugees and Migrants.  

Groundwork London deliver a series of innovative integration projects focused on supporting migrants and refugees to integrate into life in the UK, through a programme of holistic activities including language, employment support and cultural / community activities.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage one of our key integration projects.

The Project Manager will manage the planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and financial management of the project. We are seeking someone with experience in complex project management and leadership, combined with experience of working with refugee and migrant communities and a strong understanding of the challenges these communities and individuals face.

You will have the opportunity to strategically steer and witness the first hand benefits of the services to the refugees and migrants we work with.

  • Are a strong team leader, with the ability to motivate, utilise and empower the skills and experience of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experienced in project management skills including budget management, report writing and client management.
  • Have the ability to deliver high quality projects and reach targets.
  • Experienced in working with refugees and migrants (lived experience would be advantageous)
  • Ability to work autonomously, using initiative and drive.
