Programmes Officer (Grants)

Location: Groundwork London Islington (Angel) office with a requirement to work across London (from home during Covid-19 social distancing measures)

Contract: One year fixed term contract, with a possibility to extend

Salary: Circa £22,500

Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Groundwork London is responsible for a number of grant schemes across a variety of areas of environmental and regeneration themes, including TfL Walking & Cycling Grants London, GLA Grow Back Greener, Community Led Recovery, MOPAC Shared Endeavour and Our Space Award.

The Programmes Officer will coordinate and support the delivery of the Trust’s expansive pan London grant programmes.

The role will focus on coordinating and executing grant application processing and coordinate project monitoring and report generation for programme partners and funders. The post holder will be the key contact for all grant schemes managed by Groundwork, responding to queries and providing training to both prospective grant applicants and funded groups.

The post holder will have proven organisational, time management and co-ordination skills and be able to demonstrate strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and databases to maintain complex administrative and monitoring systems with high degrees of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be essential in the role.
