The Delivery Strand aims to help organisations to a) continue delivering and develop, or b) start to deliver, projects that aim to prevent and respond to health inequalities in Greenwich. The strand aims to support organisations across the borough that possess the knowledge, skills and capacity to deliver projects that tackle health inequalities.
The work funded on this programme aligns with the Greenwich Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which sets out the mental and physical health and wellbeing priorities for the next five years in the borough. More information can be found here.
This page will be updated with each new round of funding, to detail who and what has been funded.
All unsuccessful applications are given bespoke feedback and offered a follow-up support call. All applicants are also asked to submit feedback on the application process to help improve and develop the process for future rounds.
Round 1 Recipients
We received a total of 67 applications, of which 25 were awarded funding, totalling £542,189.
The following groups were awarded funding in August 2024:
Avant-Gardening CIC – Rainbow Creatives: An artist’s collective whose work investigates environmental, social and sustainability issues, by engaging diverse communities through art, gardening, play and community activities. Funding will be used for their ‘Rainbow Creatives’ project, targeting those aged 50+ in the LGBTQ+ community in Greenwich with lived experience of mental health issues. This project runs art-based workshops to positively impact on wellbeing and mental health, and has been co-created with participants. Avant-Gardening CIC trustees and staff are majority LGBTQ+, women, with lived experience of mental health problems, representing the communities they aim to support. Bexley, Greenwich and Dartford HE CIC – Physical education for HE in Greenwich: Newly set-up organisation that provides home-educated (HE) young people with the opportunity to access physical education and socialising opportunities, to improve their physical and mental health. Funding will be used to provide sports classes via Power Mobile Gym in Woolwich, with the aim of reducing isolation and improving confidence and independence through physical exercise. CHAMPIONS 4 CHANGE WELLBEING C.I.C. – Boxercise Programme: This organisation connects with NHS Social Prescribing Teams to deliver structured Physical Therapy for people with Type 2 Diabetes using Boxercise, focusing on Afro-Caribbean and South Asian communities. Funding will be used to provide residents of Glyndon, Plumstead, Abbey Wood and Woolwich, who have been referred to their service, with a Boxercise Programme, as well as providing healthy snacks and food parcels post-session. Citizens of the World Choir – Sing well, Feel well: An open-to-all, non-auditioned choir for those aged 19-85, supporting asylum seekers, migrants, those seeking sanctuary; and their allies. Members are often affected by past trauma, immigration issues, racial discrimination, disability and mental health difficulties. Funding will be used to support the running of choir rehearsals and engagement, online rehearsals, staff costs, travel and food for refugee members, mental health support and signposting. Clod Ensemble – Performing Medicine Programme: Organisation works to address inequalities in how art is created and used in the health sector. Education and talent development programmes address structural barriers to arts careers experienced by young women and non-binary people of Global Majority or working-class backgrounds. Funding will be used to coordinate partnerships between participants and Greenwich communities, the NHS, Higher Education Institutions and arts organisations. Bursaries will support participants in developing their creative health practice to practically tackle health inequalities in Greenwich.Greenwich Health and Wellbeing Strategy Area of Impact: Stay Well
Community Empowerment and Support Initiatives (CESI) – Health and Wellbeing Support for Ex-British Gurkha Community: Organisation is run by and for the Nepalese community, specifically Ex-British Gurkha veterans. It supports elderly community members to tackle social isolation, depression and health problems, which are often worsened by language and cultural barriers. Funding will be used for a new project, focused on improving the physical and mental wellbeing of beneficiaries through; yoga and keep fit classes, workshops on healthy eating and healthier living, alcohol and drug misuse, sleep-management, digital literacy training and a healthcare access drop-in service. Community Training Centre (CTC) – Greenwich Health and Well Being Project: Organisation empowers individuals from diverse backgrounds who are disproportionately impacted by health disparities in Greenwich, by providing practical skills training, qualifications, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Funding will be used to develop a new project to empower individuals to address their mental health concerns. It will fund a range of workshops, training sessions, and the provision of DIY kits. It will target individuals who are unemployed, ex-offenders and asylum seekers, who face challenges accessing health resources and further mental health support. Creating Ground CIC – Keep On Moving: Organisation is run by and for migrant women from ethnic minority communities who are socially and economically disadvantaged. Facilitate skills sharing among different groups and use creativity and the arts to empower individuals to share their experiences, express their feelings and overcome difficulties. Funding will be used to develop their project which provides dance sessions and yoga classes to enhance the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of migrant women. It offers a safe and inclusive environment where they can connect, exercise, and alleviate the stresses associated with daily challenges, particularly for those living in vulnerable circumstances. English for Action (EFA) London – ESOL for Refuge: Organisation supports migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum, particularly those who have low levels of English. Deliver free Learning & Action groups that combine English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) lessons with community organising and integration support, in order for migrants to gain access to the social, economic and political benefits. Funding will be used for a project that supports beneficiaries through a programme of trauma-informed education and mental health support, breaking barriers through English classes, drama workshops and a mental health support group. EFA London trustees and staff consist of migrants, women, BAME, previous participants, and people with English as an additional language, representing those they aim to support. European Reminiscence Network – Developing reminiscence projects: Organisation aims to support people living with dementia and their carers. It aims to promote best practice and to share experiences across communities, helping beneficiaries to better understand the health needs of those with dementia. Funding will be used to develop their work in reminiscence in dementia care, to support those whose sense of identity and value is threatened by dementia. It will tackle stress, social isolation, anxiety and depression faced by its beneficiaries by running weekly support sessions. Fresh Chances LTD – Free Holiday Food and Fun Health Activities: Black-led organisation that aims to provide a community-focused, fun learning space with activities and projects that aim to tackle health inequalities in young people, SEND individuals and ethnic minority groups. Funding will be used for the expansion of their project, which tackles ethnic minority health inequality arising from inadequate healthy food awareness. It will offer ethnic meals for communities within Glyndon by providing healthy community meals and health and wellbeing workshops. Greenwich Health and Wellbeing Strategy Area of Impact: Start Well
Jaydee Fitness (CIC) – Kids Club and Parents Dance Fitness Class: Organisation supports mothers in Greenwich by running regular exercise sessions to empower women to feel confident and improve their physical and mental health. Funding will be used to expand their work and pilot a new fitness project for children and young people, alongside dance fitness classes for their parents. The Kids Club will consist of a range of activities and games to aid child development in emotional wellbeing, motor skills, self-confidence, spatial awareness, creativity, team building, social skills, and communication skills. Moorings Neighbourhood Forum – Moorings Healthier Together: Group of Moorings residents, businesses, services and community groups who have come together to benefit the community, by discussing local issues and priorities, crating positive change by engaging with residents. Funding will be used to continue delivering a mental and physical health support project to residents in Thamesmead Moorings. The project covers; healthy eating/ cooking, growing/ gardening, dental health pop-up workshops and community trips to improve wellbeing. Moorings Residents Group and Friends of Hawksmoor – Community Health and Fitness Sessions: Group is made up of local Thamesmead and Abbey Wood residents. Many users come from low-income families, who live in overcrowded housing. Users come together in a safe, welcoming environment to access physical exercise activities and cooking classes. Funding will be used to continue delivering work that supports families cope the cost of living crisis by providing access to healthy meals and cooking classes, physical exercise activities, and supporting them to learn new skills in how to being active. Neighbourhood Doulas – Maternal Health Project: Organisation is a by-and-for grassroots, maternal health charity dedicated to supporting pregnant women who are disproportionately affected by health inequalities. They provide free, holistic, and personalised antenatal, labour/ birth and postnatal care. Funding will be used for the continuation and development of maternal health support in the most deprived areas of Greenwich. The project aims to provide comprehensive, practical, trauma-informed continuity of care to marginalised groups. Funding will contribute towards training 40 doulas (professional perinatal birth workers) and hiring a project coordinator. Greenwich Health and Wellbeing Strategy Area of Impact: Stay Well
Power2 Ltd – Early Intervention Mental Health and Wellbeing Support: Organisation supports children and young people impacted by poor mental health by offering early-intervention support to prevent escalation. Specifically work with schools in areas of high deprivation and/or those located in areas characterised by inequality. Funding will enable the extension of support that they offer to children and young people impacted by poor mental health, particularly in underserved areas like Plumstead, Charlton and Woolwich. They offer group intervention, peer-to-peer mentoring and adapted education materials. Majority of Power2 Ltd trustees, senior management team and staff have lived experience of the issues they seek to address, representing those they aim to support. Quaggy Development Trust – Healthy and Affordable Food Project: Organisation provides support for Greenwich children and families by running a day care, family hub and children’s services centre to provide family support, counselling support, activities, courses and health sessions. Funding will be used to support their existing Coldbath & Orchard Pantry, which targets those who are struggling with the cost of living, and enables them access items that may otherwise be unaffordable. They also educate families and individuals across west Greenwich about healthy eating through healthy cookery clubs, developing a healthy recipe book to share with participants and running nutrition sessions. South London Counselling and Support Services – African Faith Group Mental Health Project: BAME-led organisation that works with African and African Caribbean churches, faith groups and communities of the Christian denominations to identify and deliver support to these communities. They provide impartial and confidential services in guidance and free therapeutic counselling services for children, young people, and their families. Funding will allow the development of their project to deliver therapeutic counselling and support services for Black faith groups, children and adults age 13-29 years, and support for their families. Funding will also support a drop-in service to enable young people with a diagnosed mental health problem to overcome social and communication problems through peer support, mentoring and counselling. South London Special League – Multisports for Disabled People: Organisation provides opportunities for young disabled people and adults to improve their lives through sport, to increase their opportunities to socialise and gain new experiences in order to contribute towards improved health and wellbeing, physical fitness, self-esteem and raised aspirations. Funding will be used to support the continuation of their Multi Sport Club for disabled people and Greenwich Powerchair Football Club, to deliver a range of adapted sports activities, to support a range of disabled people who experience high levels of social isolation. The AHOY Centre – Healthy Active Lifestyles for Young People and Disabled People: Organisation offers opportunities for disadvantaged, at-risk and disabled young people to build life skills through sailing, rowing, powerboating and other activities on and off the water. Funding will support their existing project, which provides an inclusive environment where disabled people can develop, by having access to; on water rowing, sailing and powerboating, indoor rowing, land based sporting activities, open air spaces and physical activity. Sessions welcome disabled people aged 18+ with physical and learning difficulties, as well as offering peer mentoring support. Greenwich Health and Wellbeing Strategy Area of Impact: Be Well
The Carers Social Group – Personal Training for Carers: Group provides social opportunities for carers of learning disabled and autistic adults in Greenwich. The group is volunteer-run by-and-for carers and aims to create a supportive network that connects, informs and empowers carers. Funding will enable members to receive personal training sessions to improve their physical and mental health. It aims to give carers the tools, motivation and confidence to commit, long-term, to a fitness programme that suits the individual and their needs, around the flexibility of their caring demands. The Change Foundation – Young Mums Sports Network: Organisation aims to change the lives of marginalised young people through the power of sport. It supports young mums, predominantly from ethnic minority backgrounds and low socio-economic background, from ages 16 – 25 and their young children. Funding will be used to support a project that provides a safe and supportive environment for young mums to engage in physical activity and reconnect with nature, knowing that their young children are safe and close by. It will be delivered through weekly exercise sessions, both indoors and outdoors, a range of multi-sport activities, guidance on nutrition, mental health, future planning, and connection to nature. Tramshed Arts Ltd – Art and Drama Therapy Group for Young People: Organisation provides performing arts programmes for young people and adults with learning disabilities, and houses numerous community groups. They aim to create change through creative experiences that remove barriers and connect communities. Funding will be used to run the ‘Whatever makes You Happy’ group, which uses drama and art therapy to support young people with acute and complex mental health issues. The programme supports young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to have the best start in life, enables friendships and emotional regulation, creates resilience and improves mental health. Volunteering Matters – Family Mentors Greenwich: Organisation turns local knowledge into action by working with volunteers and partners to build stronger communities for all. They set up volunteering opportunities that aim to overcome adversity, tackle isolation, improve physical and mental health, develop skills and ensure young people can lead change. Funding will be used to support Family Mentors Greenwich, which utilises a volunteer-led model to provide peer support to parents and families across the borough who are struggling to live happy, healthy lives. This primarily focuses on supporting those with greatest need, such as single parents, young carers, blended families, families living with health conditions, refugees and migrants and those referred for support from social services. XLP – Healthy Eating and Community Doorstep Sports Programme: Organisation supports young people with issues surrounding poverty, lack of access to services and lack of educational support at home. Support young people through education, mentoring, employability, community youth work, sports and the arts. Funding will allow their mobile youth centres to travel to Abbey Wood, Charlton and Briset Park Estate to provide a base for free high-quality, youth work and a sports programme. Their doorstep community sports programme will provide accessible opportunities for young people to take part in informal sports within their local community, which run directly on estates. Advocacy in Greenwich – Community Mentor Project: Organisation empowers people with learning disabilities through advocacy, to support individuals to make their own choices and enable them to participate fully in the community. Funding will support a new mentoring initiative, delivered in partnership with Volunteering Centre Greenwich. Participants will be paired with a trained volunteer mentor and AIG consultant to provide 1:1 guidance, group activities, outings and peer-led sessions. Age UK Bromley and Greenwich – ‘Greenwich Over 50s Feeling Good’ programme: Organisation works as a connector for preventative services, activities and support for older people, adult carers and those with long-term conditions. This project targets older residents in Abbey Wood, Eltham, Plumstead, and West Thamesmead. It promotes physical activity, reducing loneliness, and improving mental wellbeing through activities such as seated yoga, dance for wellness, walking tennis, and monthly trips. BlindAid – Expansion of Sight Support Service in Greenwich: Organisation supports blind and visually impaired (VI) adults to improve their; quality of life, mental wellbeing & independence, social inclusion & community connection and access to health, care, welfare & community services. Funding for an expansion of the Sight Support Service in Greenwich, where Sight Support Workers provide free, long-term, home-based practical and emotional support through regular weekly home visits and phone calls. Central Eltham Youth Project (CEYP) – Eltham Community Learning & Healthy Living Project: Organisation reduces inequalities by providing accessible health, well-being and learning services for socio-economically disadvantaged groups. Funding for new Community Learning & Healthy Living Project, which will employ a Community Development Worker and for tutors/ trainers to deliver workshops and services. Community Needs Foundation – Cookery Club: Organisation aims to create access to good and healthy food in the community for vulnerable groups. They set up an African Caribbean food bank in Thamesmead and Abbey Wood. Funding will set up a cookery club as part of their food bank. CureComm CIC – Upscaling of ‘Men’s Wellbeing: Live Life Project’: Organisation supports community members in finding solutions to social issues that lead to feelings of stress and poor mental health. This project will reduce loneliness, improve mental health, and prevent suicide among men in Greenwich. The project includes mental health workshops, physical activities, one-on-one mentoring, and community engagement. Debt Centre Greenwich – Building Financial Resilience to Improve Mental Health and Wellbeing: Organisation provides free debt counselling support to those struggling with unmanageable debt. Funding to continue and develop existing debt/ money advice service, to expand provision to deliver life skills and job club courses and support the organisation towards quality standard accreditation. Food for Purpose CIC – Healthy Church Initiative: Organisation is a Black-led social enterprise focused on addressing health inequalities in Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities. It connects underserved populations with mainstream health systems by providing culturally relevant, faith-integrated health solutions. Funding to deliver the Healthy Church Initiative, which promotes key health messages within a culturally relevant, faith motivated framing to encourage healthy living. Greenwich Mencap – Lifeskills Centre – Independent living training and support for Adults with Learning Disabilities: Organisation provides services for people with a learning disability (LD) and their families. The project addresses health inequalities among adults with LD in Greenwich by providing a comprehensive training programme, including healthy eating, budgeting, travel skills, and mental health support, to help participants live independently and improve their wellbeing. Her Centre Ltd – Continued Support for Women with Additional Challenges Escaping Domestic Abuse: Organisation is a women’s advice and advocacy service providing free training, counselling and drop in services to women. The project works with women who have experienced domestic abuse, to provide medium-term support to help women rebuild their lives and stay safe. Hero Self CIC – Expansion of Confidence Coaching Programme: Organisation works with primary schools in Greenwich to improve the mental health of students from lower socio-economic backgrounds, offering strategies to build confidence, regulate emotions, and enhance resilience. Holyghost Christian Centre – Health Outreach (My Health My Life): Organisation works to raise and equip believers to live well in society by building good relationships at home, at work and within the community. Funding for project to provide free health screenings, educational workshops and outreach to vulnerable groups in the community, including low-income families, ethnic minorities and elderly residents. MumsAid – Maternal Mental Health: Organisation supports mothers with their mental health by removing barriers that prevent women seeking help. Funding to expand their perinatal mental health services to marginalised pregnant women and new mothers across Greenwich. Positive Futures Group – Fitness & Well-being project: Organisation supports individuals and families from BAME backgrounds by encouraging healthier lifestyles. Funding will support their Afro-Dance Fitness & Well-Being Project, which improves improve physical and mental health of parents and young people. Queer Diary CIC – Zine-Making: Organisation aims to tackle loneliness & isolation by improving mental health & wellbeing for the LGBTQIA+ population. Funding for delivery of creative workshops for LGBTQIA+ people in Greenwich & the publication of a zine containing their contributions, to share life stories as an important part of contemporary LGBTQIA+ culture & history. Roots4Life – One Stop Community Hub: Organisation addresses the physical and mental health challenges that come with malnutrition, obesity, social isolation and food poverty/insecurity by offering wrap-around services to socio-economic disadvantaged families and individuals. Funding for; the continuation of Warm Hub Wednesday afternoons for free healthy food bundles; Green Monday gardening sessions to address mental health needs and wellbeing; and new sessions for complex and long term health needs. Senfocus – SEND-athlon: An Adapted Triathlon for SEND: Organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN). Funding for project of adapted triathlon activities, including swimming, cycling, running, and climbing. The project targets underrepresented groups, such as those from low-income and ethnic minority backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. The Big Red Bus Club – Parent Connect: Organisation aims to improve the health and wellbeing of local families, particularly those with children under 5. They focus on working with families from low-income backgrounds, ethnic minority families, and those without access to outdoor space. Funding for project aimed at parents of children with disabilities. It will offer free facilitated active listening circle sessions delivered by professionals and specialised signposting advisors. The Javan Coker Foundation – Safe Space for SEND: Organisation provides SEND children and young people with a safe, supportive environment to take part in structured activities such as arts & crafts, music, dance, and motivational speaking. Funding will help them expand their reach, introduce new activities (e.g. theraputic interventions, life skills, careers advice), provide transport subsidies, and improve M&E processes. Train with Tara – Meno Moments: Organisation works with women in the community who are going through, or approaching menopause. Funding for Meno Moments project, which improves the physical and mental wellbeing of menopausal women in Greenwich, particularly in Thamesmead. Trinity Laban – Singing for Lung Health Choir: Organisation is a specialist Higher Education provider, their Public Engagement programmes provide dance and music activity for a diverse range of participants and. Funding to develop and deliver a singing group aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals with chronic lung conditions and providing tools for managing breathlessness. Woolwich Service Users Project (WSUP) – Health Coordinator: Organisation is a grassroots charity with a drop-in centre which provides practical and emotional support to people experiencing poverty, homelessness, addiction, health issues and financial struggles. Funding for a Health Coordinator, a new initiative designed to address health disparities, prevent homelessness, and respond to public health emergencies. WORLD OF HOPE – Cultural Food Bank: Organisation provides support services to young people and their families from BAME communities to empower and increase confidence in overcoming racism, poverty, ill health, domestic violence and youth crime. Funding for project which will provide nutritional food education by delivering weekly cookery lessons to encourage health eating regimes, whilst also encouraging increased fitness with weekly Afrobeat exercise classes and walking groups. We received a total of 18 applications, of which 7 were awarded funding, totalling £99,980.
The following groups were awarded funding in August 2025:
Creative Companion Collaborations CIC – Massages and games for the elderly including those with Dementia: Organisation supports those with a diagnosis of Dementia and their unpaid carers; they work to tackle mental health issues and provide support in reducing social. Funding for fortnightly workshops, where Dementia patients will be offered a variety of activities such as; hand massages, fully clothed body massages, gaming activities, flower making workshops and seated exercise. Funding for the delivery of a pilot cancer rehabilitation programme in Greenwich, covering staff time to run the project, including clinical delivery by qualified Clinical Exercise Physiologists, participant onboarding, referral coordination, and outcome monitoring. The Deborah Ubee Trust – Understanding Anxiety and Stress Programme Phase II: Organisation is a mental health and wellbeing charity providing accessible, trauma-informed support services. They run counselling sessions, therapeutic group work, movement and art therapy, and workshops on a range of wellbeing topics for some of South East London’s most marginalised and underserved individuals. Funding to deliver a targeted programme of preventative mental health and wellbeing support for 100 children and young people in Greenwich. Unique Cycling part of Limited Edition Cycling – Project equipment and resources: Unique is an all-abilities cycling club offering weekly sessions for individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, autism, and mental health needs. Based at Sutcliffe Sports Ground, it provides a safe, supportive environment for cyclists of all ages. Funding will support bike storage, new equipment, and a mechanic workspace to maintain bikes. YMCA Thames Gateway Group – Developing Woolwich Youth mentoring: Organisation supports vulnerable children and young people in Woolwich Dockyard, focusing on mental health and personal development through safe, trauma-informed spaces. Following a successful pilot, their funded project aims to expand drop-in and one-to-one mentoring for better mental health outcomes, especially for those from low-income families. Funding will cover staff salaries, training, room hire, and evaluation. The project help children and young people to set future goals, build resilience, and improve health outcomes. CHAMPIONS 4 CHANGE WELLBEING C.I.C. – Expansion of Physical Therapy for Type 2 Diabetes using Boxercise: Organisation supports people diagnosed with or at risk of Type 2 Diabetes, particularly within BAME communities. Fundng to deliver structured physical activity sessions, with a complementary diet and lifestyle education programme. Over 40 weeks, across 3 locations, participants will attend fortnightly sessions on nutrition, diabetes prevention, and behaviour change, offering a holistic approach to improving community health. Remark! Community – Evolution of Eltham Deaf Lunch Club Project: Organisation aims to minimise social isolation, offering educational experiences and providing access to communication through British Sign Language for members of the Deaf community throughout London and the surrounding areas. Funding to continue and expand Eltham Deaf Lunch Club, a weekly, Deaf-led social and support group for elderly Deaf British Sign Language users aged 55+ in Greenwich. Single Homeless Project – Tackling barriers to mental health support for Greenwich Young People experiencing homelessness: Organisation works with Londoners to gain skills, improve health and well-being, and build confidence and resistance so they can move from homelessness to independence—whether that be employment, a strong social community, or their own place to call home. Funding for psychotherapy sessions for young people experiencing homelessness in Greenwich. Project will prevent mental health crises and promoting long-term wellbeing, enabling young people to build resilient, independent, and healthy lives, which they can carry through to adulthood. The Mary Dolly Foundation – It’s My Life!: Organisation provides therapeutic facilities, offering early interventions for emotional distress at different levels to children and families with additional needs. Interventions provided include one-to-one counselling for children, young people and, when appropriate, parents and families, as well as group work for children, young people and adults. Funding for therapy sessions with qualified counsellors; the sessions target 75 individuals with autism and/or learning disabilities who reside within Greenwich. This organisation is a pro bono (free) legal advice service available to people living or based in an SE postcode who are unable to afford legal advice elsewhere. Funding will be used to support approximately 1,000 people in 2026 through in-person and remote legal advice, focusing on individuals experiencing health inequalities, including disabled people, those with long-term health conditions, low incomes, and no recourse to public funds.

Maritime Children’s Foundation Expansion of our 0-4 programme into Brooklands Primary School
This organisation is a family of 13 schools and provides additional support to children and families attending schools within the Maritime Academy Trust. Funding is for an early years programme run from Brooklands Primary School to support disadvantaged families and children aged 0-4.

Nature Vibezzz Family Forest School at Plumstead Common and Full Moon Nature Walks in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
This organisation delivers Forest Schools, environmental education and practical nature conservation activities primarily for disadvantaged and underrepresented children, families and communities across South London. The funding will be used to run 30 weekly weekend family-focused 2-hour activities engaging with families through environmental education/nature conservation/Forest School sessions at Plumstead Common Nature Reserve, and 8 monthly family nature moon walks at different sites in Greenwich.

DChanger UK Cancer Peer Support and Awareness for Greenwich Patients, Survivors & Carers
The organisation is a charity providing practical and emotional support to individuals and families affected by cancer. This funding will deliver a 12-month programme of peer support and health awareness for 120 Royal Greenwich residents affected by cancer, including patients, survivors and unpaid carers. Activities will include Monthly Tea and talk sessions, a weekend retreat. Hybrid delivery and access support (travel, childcare and digital inclusion) will ensure participation for those facing health, financial or mobility barriers.

Vibrant Health Education CIC Applied Health-Building for Young People in Greenwich Schools and Youth Centres
The organisation works across schools, delivering preventive wellbeing and applied health-building education for children and young people. The funding will run targeted pilot health workshops in schools and community settings on Health Awareness, Breathing, Posture & Alignment, Emotional Management, Cognitive Function, and Vision. The project will also provide digital takeaway tools.

The organisation is a trans-denominational Christian women’s group that supports the physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being of women and families. Sitopia Farm Cic Greenwich Grown: Encouraging Healthy Eating & Growing in our Borough
The organisation is a modern, urban farm in Greenwich, London. They grow vegetables and flowers using organic, regenerative, and no-dig principles and sell directly to the local community, chefs, and florists. The funding will be used to support a community-led food-growing and healthy-eating project delivered by Sitopia Farm CIC. The project will support low-income Greenwich residents and primary schools with high pupil-premium rates through free food-growing training, school partnerships, and practical, hands-on learning.

Wondering CIC Frames of Mind: Mental Health Film Programme for Young People
The organisation is a community interest company exploring how filmmaking and storytelling can become landscapes for change through research, community projects, and lived-experience campaigns. The funding will be used to deliver ‘Frames of Mind ‘, a 12‑month therapeutic filmmaking and wellbeing programme for 8 young people (18–30) in Greenwich experiencing complex mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, and social isolation. The films will then be used in a borough‑wide youth mental health awareness campaign.

European Reminiscence Network Expansion of Remembering Yesterday Caring Today in Greenwich
The organisation Is a long-established creative reminiscence programme to support people living with dementia and their family carers by improving wellbeing and connection through shared storytelling and multi-sensory creative activities. The funding will be used to part-fund a new weekly programme at Mycenae House (6 weeks of an 8-week project) and to deliver 8 ‘Monthly Get Togethers’ designed to bring together three cohorts from 2025-26, creating a sustained and supportive peer network.

The organisation is run for carers by carers, providing a social network for whole-life, unpaid carers of learning-disabled adults. The funding will be used to continue the established peer-led social support network for one year, delivering free activities, including weekly coffee mornings, social events, a carers’ choir, information sessions, and online peer support.

Access Sport: Empowering Disabled young people in Greenwich through community sport
The organisation is a national sports-inclusion charity, formed in 2004. The funding will be used to develop and deliver inclusive sport sessions for young people aged 5-25 with disabilities. The project will set up and run school holiday provision for 30 young people per day over one year. Support five local community clubs to offer new targeted disability sessions and run a free multi-sports festival in the summer of 2006.

The organisation is a community-based organisation in Charlton, with the aim of reducing food poverty and improving health and wellbeing through food programmes. The funding will run:
A Holiday Food Support programme from Mascall Hall, providing nutritious and culturally appropriate food to children and families during the school holidays throughout the year.
A Family Cookery Club, run from Quaggy Children’s Centre, runs during term time, educating families on affordable and healthy meals.

The Organisation is a community hospice supporting adults with a terminal illness. The funding will train 25 volunteers and match them to residents to befriend and make weekly visits, providing emotional and practical support.

Home-Start Greenwich Unlocked: Supporting Deaf Families (in response to the Locked Out report).
The organisation is an independent Greenwich charity affiliated to Home-Start UK that offers support to families with young children. The funding will support a pilot Deaf Awareness and support programme for Deaf parents, children of Deaf adults, and Deaf children to reduce isolation, improve access to health and early years services, and strengthen family wellbeing.
