Andrew Harrison

Andrew has worked for Groundwork UK in programme management roles for over 15 years and as Head of Contracts since 2015. He has been responsible for the development and implementation of a wide range of national and regional programmes across all of Groundwork’s thematic interests, with a particular focus on programmes supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. This has included managing Groundwork UK’s Future Jobs Fund programme – a £40million DWP funded grants programme supporting more than 6,000 young people into employment, and the Youth Contract, which helped more than 7,500 young people towards positive destinations across 33 Local Authority areas via local partnerships. Andy has responsibility for quality management and safeguarding at Groundwork UK, and supports a number of national practitioner forums designed to develop and share good practice across the Groundwork Federation.
