We Educate Communities And Regenerate Environments
There are three strands to WeCare: Green Teams, Green Communities and Green Education. Our Green Communities programme supports local volunteering and developing community champions. The programme will recruit new volunteers to enhance green spaces and reconnect local people with their local area. The programme will develop an ongoing long term volunteer team as well as offering one off workshops, events and volunteering opportunities for the wider community. We want to help improve confidence, self-esteem, health and well-being and make spaces greener and cleaner.
Our Green Education programme is curriculum linked and designed for primary and secondary schools and groups for young people. The programme delivers exciting and innovative workshops and education sessions on the environment, habitats and conservation.
