Our subsidised sessions aim to provide a connection to nature and empower young people to be creative, improve their communication and develop critical thinking, leading to more confident and resilient citizens.

Janine, our Outdoor Learning Officer, has worked in outdoor settings and engaged people of all ages and abilities for over 25 years. As part of the sessions, Janine will travel to your location and deliver specialist workshops which are fun, engaging and educational. Janine is also a level three trained speech therapist, enabling a fully inclusive environment.

Activities for bespoke sessions can include:

  • Nature crafts – Willow weaving, mosaics, bird feeders, natural tie dyeing and more
  • Foraging – Identifying plants and using them for cooking
  • Herbalism – Harvesting and using herbs for ointments, scrubs, teas, etc
  • Planting – Creating seed bombs, bee hotels, practising companion planting etc
  • Building – Creating ponds, willow domes, tunnels etc

And so much more!

These sessions can be used as part of a curriculum, as well as team building days for both old and young groups of people.
