Climate & Nature Learning
We raise awareness of environmental issues with children and young people, exploring the steps they can take, at home and at school, to make positive changes.
We engage children and young people with complex climate and nature topics, such as food and the circular economy, and the importance of nature for our health and the planet health by:
- Developing fun, exploratory and sensory nature-based-activities
- Running workshops to explore topics in more depth and commit to greener choices

Our sessions are run by Janine, our Outdoor Learning Officer, who has worked in outdoor settings and engaged people of all ages and abilities for over 25 years.
Our Level 3 qualified Forest School practitioners guide children and young people through a range of outdoor activities designed to inspire them, empower them and provide them with opportunities to learn new skills.
Activities are delivered in the classroom, outdoors or at our nature-sites in Trafford and Rochdale.
For schools and landowners seeking to develop spaces suitable for delivering Forest School activities, our Landscape Architects can help.
