Maryam’s families health was deteriorating due to draughts from their single glazed windows however, as a low income household they were struggling to afford the upgrades needed.

Wallace from Rochdale had an old boiler which wasn’t working very well. As a result, he didn’t have access to instant hot water and had to boil the kettle to wash-up and bathe.

Senzeni had recently come out of hospital after having a pacemaker fitted. She was unable to heat her home or cook substantial meals due to concern about her bills.
