What we’re doing

Groundwork Greater Manchester, TCV, City of Trees, Mersey Rivers Trust and Canal and Rivers Trust are working with local authorities and communities in Manchester, Oldham and Tameside to restore habitats in the River Medlock Valley. We’ll primarily be working in Clayton Vale, Sunnybank Vale, Lees Brook Nature Reserve and along Ashton and Rochdale canal to protect a variety of habitats and halt species decline.
