NEWS – Greater Manchester Nature Network Grant Now Open
Charitable and third sector organisations across Greater Manchester are invited to apply for the new Greater Manchester Nature Network Grant, a small grants programme designed to support delivery of the Greater Manchester Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
The fund offers grants of up to £30,000 for projects that create and enhance wildlife-rich habitats, helping to strengthen the Greater Manchester Nature Network and support nature recovery.
Groundwork delivers a range of nature recovery projects across Greater Manchester, such as those listed below, with others in the pipeline.
Groundwork is also happy to support organisations with developing their applications or to explore opportunities to partner on projects that deliver positive outcomes for nature and communities across Greater Manchester.
The application and guidance forms are available to download below:
Applications should be submitted by email to naturerecovery@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk before the 30th June 2026 and include:
- Project lead and project name
- Completed application form
- Landowner permission form
- Recent bank statement
- Supporting statement
- Planning permission (if applicable)
