Medlock Valley Restoration
Groundwork Greater Manchester is a member of the Medlock Valley Nature Restoration Partnership, a group of organisations who work together in the Medlock Valley to:
- Maintain, enhance and create habitats to increase species abundance and nature-based solutions.
- Connect a wider range of people to nature as part of everyday lives.
- Work with communities to respond to their environmental, social and economic priorities.

Our bold vision:
To reimagine, regenerate and rewild the Medlock Valley – restoring habitats, reconnecting communities, and repositioning the valley as an invaluable natural asset for Greater Manchester.
