We love helping families learn, play and bond and our Wellies in the Woods programme does just this – with local parents and toddlers joining us for outdoor fun, play and adventure.

Our Wellies in the Woods programme delivers free outdoor courses for parents and children aged five and under in partnership with local family, children’s and community centres.

We help parents and children explore local wildlife and get creative with nature together.

Each eight-week course is specifically designed to provide low and no cost activities that families can complete and repeat at home. Up to 10 families can attend, with every session planned around a popular storybook – including the likes of The Gruffalo, Very Hungry Caterpillar and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

In 2022-23 we delivered nine Wellies in the Woods courses to youngsters across the West Midlands.
