Springhead Park Golf Club is an 18 hole club in Hull.

Springhead Park Golf Club was founded in 1930 and was originally a municipal golf course operated by Hull City Council. This changed in May 2014 when the Groundwork Trust took over the operation of the facility. Thanks to an investment of £220,000 it can welcome visitors throughout the year.

Whitwood Golf Course near Castleford was constructed on the old Whitwood Colliery site and opened for business in June 1987.

In July 2012, management of the Whitwood Golf Club was officially handed over to the Groundwork Wakefield Trust and the club has gone from strength to strength ever since. Saved from potential closure, Groundwork have developed the course to become one of the finest examples of modern day golf design in the Yorkshire region, developed to be both challenging and rewarding.

In May 2016 the course opened a newly designed 9 hole Footgolf Course to further increase the different options available at the club.

At Groundwork we improve local spaces to help create healthier happier communities. Everyone should have access to services that help promote an active lifestyle.
