Bringing communities together to deliver long lasting, positive social and environmental change

Our vision is for everyone in Greater Manchester to live in a green, strong and socially cohesive neighbourhood, where every person’s voice is heard and local people play an active role in shaping the places and services that affect their lives. We work alongside residents, partners and organisations to improve shared spaces, strengthen community connections and create places that people are proud of, use and care for. By supporting communities and areas that need us most, we help bring more people into sustained collective action for climate and nature, developing the skills, confidence and capacity needed to address local challenges now and in the future. Together, we create greener, more resilient neighbourhoods that are better able to respond to challenges such as extreme weather, provide more opportunities for nature to thrive, and strengthen the support networks that help individuals, groups and communities flourish.
