Catalyst Housing have commissioned environmental regeneration charity Groundwork London to assist with improving the ball court and explore wider open space improvements around the Church End and Roundwood Unity Centre.
How would you like to see the ball court, playground and green spaces improved to better meet your needs? It’s your neighbourhood and we need you to tell us what needs doing! Initial ideas include a new colourful surface for the ball court, improved planting to provide an attractive green space for people and wildlife, improvements to the playground to provide opportunities for children and families to be active & have lots of fun new seating, pushchairs stand and bike racks etc.
Over the summer we will be speaking to the local community at pop up events and other activities to ensure as many people as possible can have their say. Based on your feedback we will develop initial designs and show these to you in the autumn for further comment. We will then finalise designs and work to secure additional funding to boost funding from Catalyst Housing.
We will share all designs and results of engagement activities on this website, so do keep checking back regularly.
Please have a look of some initial ideas and then let us know your thoughts and ideas via the short online survey:
The deadline to complete the survey is Wednesday 1st September 2021.
Coming soon: details of pop up events and activities so that you can have a chat to our designers- keep checking back and keep an eye out for posters around the Unity Centre.
