OUR POLICIES
Our policies set out what we think on the key topics central to our work. They are informed by our values, our research, and almost forty years of working with people and communities.
This policy is to protect adults, children and young people who participate in the activities and services that we provide. It also provides staff and volunteers with the principles and good practise guidelines to enable them to understand and meet their safeguarding responsibilities.
The aim of this policy is to ensure that no job applicant, employee or service user receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion and belief, sex or sexual orientation.
The aim of this policy is to ensure that all our stakeholders understand how Groundwork South and North Tyneside collect, manage, update and protect all personal or business information retained by us.
We work to the highest standards of quality and service. When we do not achieve this standard we hope that those affected will let us know by means of a complaint and will support us in our attempts to improve our services.
