Free Advice and Support
Groundwork’s Green Doctor team offer free energy advice via home visits and phone calls to residents in North and South Tyneside. Green Doctors are energy efficiency experts who help individuals and families save money by reducing energy and water costs and improving household efficiency.

Exercise and Support Groups
We offer free activity sessions to promote positive mental and physical health and wellbeing. Our Green Gym and Health Walk sessions help to overcome social isolation and increase physical exercise whilst re-connecting with nature.

We are passionate about supporting people to learn new skills and gain experience to help gain confidence, improve prospects and better prepare for the future. We currently offer several different learning programmes aimed at all ages and levels of ability.

MY NATURE FRIENDLY PLACES
Connect with the Natural Environment
We manage a number of nature sites across South and North Tyneside including; Monkton Community Woodland, West Boldon Lodge, Jarrow Hall Farm. We work with communities to improve access to local green spaces, promote bio-diverse wildlife and encourage individuals to re-connect with nature.
